Day 1: Diani Beach/Mombasa/Kilifi to Tsavo West
Our guide will pick you from your Coastal Hotel at 6.00 a.m and drive along the Mombasa- Nairobi Road to Tsavo West National Park. Drive time approximately 3 hours. Game drive after entry en-route to Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge for check in as well as lunch. Afternoon game viewing will be at 3.30 p.m and will include a visit to the Rhino Sanctuary. Dinner and overnight at the Kilaguni Serena safari Lodge .
Departing from the Coastal hotels, this 2 night safari visits Tsavo East and the Taita Hills Saltlick sanctuary. A night at the famous Voi Safari lodge where large herds of elephants and buffaloes congregate at the waterhole below. The second night will be spent at the Sarova Slatlick game lodge, a lodge build on stilts and offering magnifient views of wildlife below.
Tsavo East is one of Kenya's best parks in terms of quality game viewing and only second to the Maasai mara.
